Picking a Yamalube oil for your bike
Our Yamalube listings include 4-Stroke Motor, Performance, Optima Prime, Super Sport and GP Racing Spec. The Yamaha logo alone does not confirm that an oil is right for your bike. Match the bottle’s grade and specifications to your motorcycle’s manual.
- Range 1 · Mineralfrom৳530
Yamalube 4-Stroke Motor
This is the mineral 20W-40 SL listing. SL identifies the API category, while 20W-40 is the viscosity grade. The other Yamalube ranges here are 10W-40, so compare your manual’s permitted grades before treating them as alternatives.
Rated: API SL / Base: Mineral (supplied label)
- Range 2 · Mineralfrom৳750
Yamalube Optima Prime
Optima Prime is the mineral 10W-40 choice, separate from Performance and Super Sport. A Yamaha logo does not establish suitability for every Yamaha motorcycle or scooter. Confirm the oil grade and clutch specification in the exact model’s manual.
Base: Mineral (supplied label)
- Range 3 · Semi-syntheticfrom৳920
Yamalube Performance
Performance is the semi-synthetic 10W-40 Yamalube range. Compare it with mineral Optima Prime and fully synthetic Super Sport only after checking the required API/JASO markings. A different base-oil type does not automatically change the manual’s service interval.
Base: Semi-synthetic (supplied label)
- Range 4 · Fully syntheticfrom৳1,280
Yamalube Super Sport
Super Sport is the fully synthetic road-use Yamalube listing. Performance is semi-synthetic and Optima Prime is mineral. All may carry 10W-40, so compare the formulation and the actual pack’s API/JASO information before comparing prices.
Base: Fully synthetic (supplied label)
- Range 5 · Fully syntheticfrom৳1,950
Yamalube Racing Spec GP
Racing Spec GP is the fully synthetic listing supplied in a 1 litre metal can. Super Sport is another fully synthetic Yamalube product with a different range identity. Racing heritage and can packaging do not establish compatibility or a longer service interval.
Base: Fully synthetic (supplied label)
Which grade do you need?
Open your bike’s manual and buy the grade it names. The number before the W (10W, 20W) tells you how freely the oil moves on a cold start; the number after the dash (30, 40, 50) tells you how thick it stays once the engine is hot.
- 10W-40
- Hot rating SAE 40, cold rating 10W. The same numbers on two bottles don’t make them interchangeable: a motorcycle oil and a scooter oil can share this grade.
- 20W-40
- Hot rating SAE 40, same as 10W-40; only the cold rating differs. Use it if 20W-40 is on your manual’s list of allowed grades.
